Tips for Kindergarten

I am so excited to be participating in this Linky Party, and to share some tips!

I was reading through what so many other fantastic teachers have posted already, and it seems that they already said it all. So, I'll try my best.

Never stops to amaze me how much children can learn when they think they are just playing! As I always say: Make it fun!
This is probably a quote that you will have to remember a lot, especially if it is your fist year. No all your lessons will work the way you anticipated, but at least you'll learn from them.

I think this is so important, not only for your students to know you care for them, but also because some of your kids will not hear it from anybody else, as sad as that is.

There are so many things I wish I would've known when I first started to teach. Being consistent with your rules, being prepared, don't ever hesitate to ask for help if you feel overwhelmed, and so many more. I am pretty sure that once this post is published, I will be able to come up with at least ten more tips that I should have mentioned, but this is what I have for now. Hope you enjoyed it!

  1. Marta,
I struggled a bit with coming up with some original tips as well! The good ones as they say were taken! I definitely agree with you that they love playing a "game" that they don't know is academic. Sort of like disguising vegetables so they will eat them.
